Compatibility with Windows 98, Windows ME and Windows NT

Remote control a Windows 98, Windows ME or Windows NT

Please execute QuickSupport version 6 or install the full version 6 of TeamViewer on the computer you want to control remotely. It is now possible to connect to this computer using your TeamViewer version 7.

Joining a Meeting/Presentation under Windows 98, Windows ME or Windows NT

The complete presentation must be held in version 6. The presenter needs to start TeamViewer full version 6 and the participants need to start TeamViewer QuickJoin version 6. In case any other TeamViewer full- or Host version is installed, please make sure it is closed before launching. A quick guide on how to start a presentation using version 6 can be found under:

TeamViewer Web-Connector, TeamViewer Portable and TeamViewer Host are not compatible with Windows 98, ME, NT.
