Throughout the week, TeamViewer participated in a packed agenda of high-level roundtables, media meetings, and receptions, connecting with leaders and partners across industries. The conversations reflected a common theme: moving beyond experimentation to ensure technology—especially AI—delivers measurable, real-world value.

A key highlight was TeamViewer’s debut Tech Breakfast at the Financial Times House, which brought together senior executives for an open discussion called, “From Hype to Reality: AI’s Real Value for Business.”

Hosted by TeamViewer CEO Oliver Steil, the session explored how organizations are navigating the gap between AI ambition and business impact, with perspectives from finance (Lazard COO Alexandra Soto), deep tech (IQM Quantum Computers CEO Jan Goetz) and sports (Manchester United’s Omar Berrada). Expertly moderated by FGS Global’s Brigitte von Haacke, the conversation went beyond surface-level excitement around AI, diving into ROI expectations, the balance between experimentation and execution, and what leaders may need to unlearn to succeed in the AI era.

Earlier in the week, Steil joined global decision-makers at the Compass for Europe Summit, where discussions focused on Europe’s competitiveness and what it will take to translate industrial strength and digital leadership into sustainable growth. He also participated in conversations at The Female Quotient FQ Lounge, centered on trust by design and why security, accountability, and transparency must be foundational as AI continues to scale.

“Stepping out of the day-to-day allows for meaningful conversations about where business and technology are heading,” said Steil. “That’s exactly what we did with our Tech Breakfast in Davos. The conversation made one thing clear: the challenge — and opportunity — is turning innovation into durable growth through execution.”
