TeamViewer proudly participated in the inaugural 2025 HumanX AI Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, where innovators and industry leaders gathered to explore the latest advancements in artificial intelligence.

Mei Dent, TeamViewer’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, took the stage as an expert panelist in a session titled, “Connected Intelligence: Unlocking Efficiency with AI.” The panel also featured Robin Daniels, Chief Business and Technology Officer at Zensai; Greg Fallon, CEO of Geminus; Dan Brown, CPO of Celonis; and Patrick Kulp, reporter at Morning Brew, who moderated the discussion.

The panel focused on how AI can drive business efficiency and enhance collaboration. The conversation began with each panelist sharing their perspective on connected intelligence and its role within their respective organizations. The discussion then moved to the practical implementation of AI, how to measure its impact, and the trends shaping its future potential to drive efficiency and responsible innovation.

Key takeaways from the panel discussion:

  • Generative AI enhances established machine learning: Generative AI can be a powerful complement to traditional machine learning processes, expanding into more “creative” capabilities (as many are already experiencing with large language models) on top of machine learning’s established pattern recognition.
  • Proven ROI is essential: The true value of AI is demonstrated through return on investment. For AI to be meaningful across industries, businesses must establish clear, quantitative metrics to measure the impact of AI solutions.

  • Addressing AI FOMO: Many organizations feel they're falling behind in AI adoption. To counter this, companies should consider creating internal AI councils and developing innovation frameworks where employees can experiment and innovate with AI in a risk-free environment.

In addition to the panel, Mei Dent shared valuable insights and AI trends with partners and other enterprise leaders at the conference. A few of her observations included:

  • Trust as a key driver for AI innovation: Future advancements in AI will hinge on establishing trust with both customers and the public. Companies must create frameworks with clear, measurable metrics to gauge trust. Lack of confidence and trust could hinder innovation.
  • Collaborative development for ethical AI: AI development is a multi-faceted sport requiring collaboration among developers, academia, and policymakers. Together, these groups will need to establish ethical guidelines that ensure AI benefits society long-term.
  • The rise of vertical AI agents: As AI tools continue to evolve, businesses will increasingly focus on vertical specialization. The key question will be, “How can we tailor AI technology to become an expert in specific industries, such as finance, manufacturing, and more?”
  • Compliance, accuracy, and repeatability: A maturing AI industry will place greater emphasis on these three principles.

TeamViewer’s participation at HumanX highlights the company’s dedication to innovating for all workforces. Speaking to experts and policymakers from different verticals, TeamViewer reinforced its commitment to developing solutions that empower businesses across industries.
