The browser-based login for the TeamViewer Management Console has been experiencing intermittent issues for the past several days, caused by a Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attack. The issue has now been resolved, and the Management Console Services are operational again, though some users may still experience occasional longer loading times as systems continue to normalize. Connections to devices via TeamViewer remained fully functional throughout the last days.
As a global software leader, TeamViewer – like many technology companies – occasionally faces automated traffic spikes on the internet. These result from large-scale access to specific URLs and can affect the response times of individual services. Thanks to our established protection mechanisms, such situations are typically mitigated quickly, ensuring that our services remain available for users almost continuously. In this instance, implementing the planned safeguards took longer than usual, leading to noticeable limitations for some TeamViewer users.
We have been monitoring the situation closely over the past days and will continue to do so to ensure stability.
