TeamViewer donates laptops to support NPOs and people in need in Germany and India

Sustainability and CSR, Article, In the news

At TeamViewer, we believe that technology and the companies behind it can drive positive change. As part of our ongoing commitment to our C-A-R-E framework – Collaboration, Access to technology, Reduction of emissions, and Equality – we donate refurbished laptops to non-profit organizations in different countries. By giving our still powerful devices a second life, we help communities access the tools they need while reducing electronic waste.

Recently, these efforts included two meaningful initiatives:

  • Germany: laptops donated to Frauen- und Kinderhilfe Göppingen e.V. to support the opening of a counseling center for women and children affected by domestic violence.
  • India: laptops donated to students from underserved communities, enabling uninterrupted access to education

How These Donations Embody C-A-R-E

  • Access to technology (A): By providing reliable laptops, we empower teams at non-profit organizations to deliver vital services more efficiently, ensuring that technology becomes a tool for positive change.
  • Reduction of emissions (R): By refurbishing and re-using those devices, we give them a second life and reduce electronic waste.
  • Equality (E): Supporting initiatives like counseling centers and students from marginalized communities directly contributes to greater equality by empowering vulnerable groups to build safer, more independent futures.

These donations reflect our belief that technology should be accessible to everyone, and that sustainable actions and social impact can go hand in hand.
