TeamViewer Announces end-of-life for Versions 3 + 4

Goeppingen, December 7, 2018– TeamViewer®, a global leader in secure remote connectivity solutions, today announced the discontinuation of legacy TeamViewer versions 3 and 4. As from March 1, 2019, TeamViewer servers will cease to support connections from and to the 10-year-old client software of version 3. This will also be the case for version 4 as from the 1st of December 2019. Affected customers on a subscription plan have been notified about the upcoming phase-out according to the TeamViewer EULA and Software Lifecycle Policy. As always, all users are recommended to update to the most recent release, TeamViewer 14, in order to ensure state-of-the-art compatibility, security and performance.
