TeamViewer’s “Staying Safe Online” workshop in Noida, India
At TeamViewer, our commitment to fostering positive social impact goes beyond technology solutions. Rooted in our c-a-r-e framework - which stands for collaboration, access to technology, reduction of emissions, and equality - we actively invest in initiatives that empower communities around our office locations worldwide.
One of our recent highlights in Noida, India, focused on access to technology, specifically promoting the safe and responsible use of digital tools. End of May, we hosted a “Staying Safe Online” workshop designed for 55 young adults participating in the Udayan Shalini Fellowship program - an inspiring initiative by Udayan Care dedicated to nurturing and empowering young adults across India.
In today’s digital era, technology opens doors to education, communication, and career opportunities. However, it also exposes users to challenges like cyberbullying, identity theft, scams, and misinformation. Young adults, especially, face unique risks that require targeted awareness and skills.
Our workshop aimed to bridge this gap by providing 55 of these young adults with essential knowledge and practical strategies to protect their privacy, identity, and online presence.
Held in a hybrid format from our Noida office, the interactive two-hour session covered:
By the end of the session, the 55 young adults walked away equipped with greater confidence and practical skills to navigate the online world safely. They learned how to control their digital footprint, respond to cyber threats, and maintain their privacy with vigilance.
This initiative reflects TeamViewer’s broader vision: ensuring access to technology goes hand in hand with safe and informed usage, empowering individuals to unlock the full potential of the digital age while protecting themselves.
