Central management of smart stock replenishment system

A globally active group of companies, the Würth Group is a focused on the wholesale of fastening and assembly technology products, where just-in-time stock replenishment is crucial. To automate stock reorders, Würth installed its smart shelving systems “ORSY” at their customers’ business locations, in its own warehouses, and production facilities: Light sensors measure the fill levels of each shelf and trigger automatic reorders when predefined thresholds are reached.
Previously, Würth had no way to remotely access and centrally manage their smart shelving systems. By installing TeamViewer IoT on each of these systems, they can now remotely monitor, maintain, and efficiently optimize the reordering processes.
