On April 26 from 12:20 to 12:40 p.m. TeamViewer will present at the Siemens booth on the topic “Bringing the Digital Twin to Life with AR”
Göppingen, April 9, 2024 - At this year’s Hannover Messe (April 22–26, 2024, Hall 15, Booth E17, SAP booth), TeamViewer will be showcasing Industry 4.0 technologies based on augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR), which manufacturing and logistics companies in particular can use to accelerate their digital transformation. As an SAP partner, the Göppingen-based company will be demonstrating the benefits of integrating TeamViewer Frontline Augmented Reality, an SAP Endorsed App, with SAP products. In SAP Extended Warehouse Management, for example, the TeamViewer Vision Picking solution is used in combination with Smart Glasses to improve processes in warehouse operations and reduce error rates.
By integrating TeamViewer Frontline into SAP Digital Manufacturing, employees in production have all relevant information in view at all times via smart glasses. This reduces error rates and increases plant availability. In general, AR is of interest to users who do not perform their tasks at a fixed workstation — be it in the maintenance of production machines, in customer service or in logistics.
On April 26 from 12:20 to 12:40 p.m., TeamViewer will be presenting at the Siemens stand in Hall 9, D53 on the topic of “Bringing the Digital Twin to Life with AR”. In combination, Siemens Teamcenter software and TeamViewer Frontline enable a more efficient way of working in industry: By connecting the digital twin with the physical world via augmented reality, new potentials arise in production, service, quality assurance and training.
TeamViewer will also be showcasing the integration of TeamViewer Tensor — Enterprise Remote Support, an SAP Endorsed App, with the SAP Service Cloud, a solution for fast, efficient and personalized customer service. TeamViewer's solution, designed for use in companies, enables customer service employees to start remote support sessions directly from the SAP Service Cloud. This enables companies to help their customers remotely faster and more reliably, increase the productivity of their critical service processes and thus improve customer satisfaction.
TeamViewer’s well-known remote access solution is used by industrial and robotics companies around the world to securely access and maintain machines and systems remotely as part of their digitalization strategy. For example, the German sporting goods supplier Framas Group relies on TeamViewer to access the terminals on its production machines and thus avoid long downtimes. The United Robotics Group logs onto the customer's robots remotely via TeamViewer in the event of problems and solves software problems in minutes without the need for a technician to be on site.
