TeamViewer Remote allows you to paste the contents of your clipboard by simulating keystrokes on the remote device. It is particularly useful in scenarios where standard paste operations, such as Ctrl+V, are not available or do not work.
Entering a password or other text on the remote login screen where Ctrl+V is disabled.
Working with applications that do not support clipboard paste via keyboard shortcuts or mouse actions.
Inputting text in secure environments that only accept manual key input.
This method ensures compatibility with a wide range of input scenarios during remote support or unattended access.
Copy the desired text to your clipboard.
In the remote session window, within the remote control toolbar, go to Actions.
Navigate to Clipboard.
Click Paste clipboard as keystrokes.
TeamViewer Remote will then type out the clipboard contents on the remote system using simulated key input.
