Remote Management and TeamViewer Remote provide a comprehensive view of your endpoints all in one location. Remote Management services are available for the following operating systems below.

The following article applies to all Remote Management customers currently using TeamViewer Remote.

Note: The following article pertains to customers currently using TeamViewer Remote; for assistance with TeamViewer (Classic) and Remote Management services, please see this article.

TeamViewer Monitoring

To use TeamViewer Monitoring, the device you want to monitor must run one of the following operating systems:

Note: TeamViewer 15.48.5 (full version or Host) or later must be installed regardless of the operating system.

Windows

  • Windows 11 (22000 or higher) x64 / 10 (1607 or higher) x64 / 8.1 x64 / 7 SP1 (w/ extended security updates installed)
  • Windows Server 2022 / 2019 / 2016 / 2012 R2 / 2012
    • The antivirus software check is not available for server operating systems.

Note: 1E technology services currently only support the Windows operating system (x64).

macOS

Note: Apple silicon Macs are supported.

  • macOS 12 (Monterey)

Legacy macOS

The versions below are no longer actively supported, but they can continue to be used with TeamViewer Monitoring and TeamViewer 15.48.5 installed.

  • macOS 11 (Big Sur)

 

 

TeamViewer Asset Management

To use TeamViewer Asset Management, the device must run one of the following operating systems:

  • TeamViewer 14.5.1691 full version or Host (or later) must also be installed.
  • Linux Debian, the majority of distributions(deb) supported, works from TeamViewer 14.1.9025, released in January 2019.
  • Linux ARM, Rasbian, and other ARM distributions based on Debian
  • MacOS 10.12 (Sierra), 10.13 (HighSierra), 10.14 (Mojave), 10.15 (Catalina) 11.2-5 (Big Sur), 12 (Monterey), 13 (Ventura)
    • Apple silicon Macs are supported
    • TeamViewer 14.5 or later must be installed.
