Automated company creation for commercial licenses

Automated company creation helps you get started faster with your commercial license. When you sign in, TeamViewer may automatically create a company for you if you do not already belong to one. This removes the need to manually create a company during onboarding.

This feature ensures that all licensed users can access company-based features right away. It also reduces setup time and avoids interruptions when using admin functionalities.

This article applies to TeamViewer Business, Premium, Corporate, and Tensor license holders.

Requirements

To use automated company creation, you must meet the following conditions:

  • You log in successfully to your TeamViewer account

  • You own a supported commercial license

  • You are not already a member of an existing company

  • You are located in a supported rollout country

Supported rollout countries:

  • Austria (AT)
  • Denmark (DK)
  • Finland (FI)
  • Iceland (IS)
  • Ireland (IE)
  • Italy (IT)
  • Netherlands (NL)
  • Norway (NO)
  • Poland (PL)
  • Portugal (PT)
  • Romania (RO)
  • South Africa (ZA)
  • Spain (ES)
  • Sweden (SE)
  • Türkiye (TR)

More countries will be added over time.

How automated company creation works

When you sign in, TeamViewer checks if you meet all requirements.

If all conditions are met:

  1. A company is created automatically during login.

  2. Your account becomes the company administrator.

  3. You gain immediate access to company-based features.

No manual action is required.

How the company name is generated

The system creates a unique company name based on your display name.

Naming pattern:

<First 40 characters of Display Name>'s Company

Example:

  • Display name: John Doe
  • Company name: John Doe's Company

If the name already exists:

  • A number is added at the end

  • Example: John Doe's Company2

Numbers increase automatically until a unique name is found.

What to expect during the first login

During your first login with a supported license:

  • Your company may be created automatically

  • You are assigned as the company administrator

  • You can access Admin settings immediately

  • You do not need to create a company manually

This allows you to start using advanced features without interruption.
