TeamViewer AI uses an AI credit‑based payment model. TeamViewer AI includes features such as Session Insights, Tia (TeamViewer Intelligent Agent), and Scale script generation. These services use an AI credit‑based payment model.

AI credits are consumed based on feature usage and the underlying AI credit consumption logic.

AI credits are automatically assigned on the first day of each month. The number of AI credits available depends on your license and is listed in the license descriptions. The remaining AI credit balance is displayed at the top right of the AI admin settings page.

Customers can purchase additional AI credits both in the Customer Portal and directly in‑product from the AI settings page. Purchased AI credits follow the rules of the AI credits add‑on.

AI credits add‑on

AI credits are available as an annual subscription add‑on and are co‑termed with the main license.

Usage policy:
Credits reset upon renewal. Unused credits expire and do not roll over to the next term.

Mid‑term activation:
For first‑time purchases made mid‑cycle, customers receive the full annual credit allotment at a pro‑rated price. These credits remain valid until the main license renewal date.

AI credit consumption

Session Insights
Each session summary generation consumes one credit.

Tia (TeamViewer Intelligent Agent)
The first message of each Tia chat consumes one credit. Every additional 50 Tia messages consumes one additional credit. A session in which Tia is used and a session summary is generated still consumes only one credit.

Scale script generation
Initial code generation consumes five credits. Each refinement consumes one credit.

Note: Availability of AI features depends on the required licenses. Scale script generation is available only for customers with TeamViewer ONE Standard or Advanced, or Remote / Tensor with DEX Essentials licenses.
