Certain hurdles may appear during the installation of TeamViewer Asset Management, preventing successful service implementation. The following article explains the requirements for successfully installing TeamViewer Asset Management.

The following article is for all TeamViewer Asset Management customers.

Note: Asset Management powered by 1E uses the 1E client for hardware and software inventory and TeamViewer Patch Management for patching and software deployment. TeamViewer installs and configures these components when you activate Asset Management on a device. Installing a 1E client separately does not activate that device for Asset Management.

Note: Please do not uninstall an existing 1E client, modify or interfere with any TeamViewer service settings or 1E service configurations, or delete provisioning and registration data unless instructed by TeamViewer Support. These actions can break core functionality and prevent systems from operating or recovering correctly.
