TeamViewer recently took part in “Europe’s biggest AI Event” in Berlin, the Big Bang AI Conference. In his session titled “Minimal Downtime, Maximum Productivity: How AI is Transforming Work and Device Support Globally,” TeamViewer’s Director Product Management (AI) Artus Rupalla explained how TeamViewer is leveraging AI to enhance work and device support.
He started with showing how downtime and IT problems lead to massive costs and revenue losses for enterprises worldwide. For the top 2000 companies globally, this loss amounts to an average of 200 million dollars per year per company. By shifting from reactive to proactive IT management, IT teams can prevent issues before they impact productivity. This concept changes the perception of IT teams, turning them from a cost center into a revenue driver and cost saver.
Artus elaborated on how our AI solution TeamViewer Intelligence already today provides real-time support and data-driven recommendations during support sessions while helping with documentation and analysis afterwards. He gave an outlook into the future of IT support that lies in autonomous endpoint management where AI agents can solve the repetitive, reoccurring tasks in IT support and thereby free up time for more strategic work by the employees.
