Sometimes you may be asked to locate your TeamViewer log files and send them to TeamViewer to help solve a problem.
This article applies to all TeamViewer customers.
Licensed users can submit log files to TeamViewer Support via the ticket system. You may access the ticket system using the button below:
Additionally, if you have questions about our solutions, products, or licenses, we welcome you to contact our customer support using the button below.
Note: We always need the log files of both connection partners. Additionally, we need the approximate time when the problem occurred.
The easiest way to find the log files is to use TeamViewer's built-in method, as follows:
By default, the TeamViewer log files can be found in these locations:
C:\Program Files (x86)\TeamViewer
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\TeamViewer
Macintosh HD ➜ [User] ➜ Library ➜ Logs ➜ TeamViewer
Note: To access TeamViewer logs on macOS, you must be signed in to an administrator account.
