The Company Address Book allows company administrators to ease communication between all members of the company profile.

Once a user has been added to the company profile, their account will automatically be added to the Computer & Contacts list with the Company Address Book Group.

This group appears within the Computer & Contacts list of all members automatically.

This article applies to all customers with a Corporate, Tensor Basic, Tensor Pro or Tensor Unlimited plan.

How to activate the Company Address Book

The Company Address Book is an optional feature to enhance communication between the members of a company profile.

The company administrator can enable the Company Address Book for all users with the Company Management of the Management Console.

  1. Navigate to the Company Administration in the Management Console
  2. Click the Advanced Button
  3. Enable the toggle for Company Address Book
  4. Click Save

📌Note: The Company Address Book will only be visible within the Computers & Contacts List within the TeamViewer Clients.

How to hide users

You can hide selected users not appearing in the Company Address Book.

To do so, go to the User Administration select Users Edit users (Bulk or single edit)➜Advanced and enable Hide from company address book.

📌Note: Bulk edit only works for multiple company admins or users, not mixed.

💡Hint: Changes will take 10-15 mins to be applied to the clients.

How to deactivate the Company Address Book

The Company Address Book can be deactivated at any point.

  1. Navigate to the Company Administration in the Management Console.
  2. Click the Advanced Button.
  3. Disable the toggle for Company Address Book.
  4. Click Save.
