Connections represent the course of a workflow and can be visualized within the connector.
- Add: Allows users to add Scene State, Step, Menu, Quiz, Instruction, Timer, Barcode, Step, or Step Group.
- Objects: Allows users to duplicate, copy, paste, or delete the steps or connections.
- Reset View: Resets the window's position and zoom factor to their default values.
- Scale to Fit: Makes all markers and instruction components visible at the same time.
- Auto Layout: Automatically arranges markers and instruction components.
- Focus On Selection: Positions the selected step to the center.
- Preview Mode: Allows users to visualize the workflow they have created before finalizing it and see the animation in real time (Alt + step as the shortcut). This helps reduce the number of corrections uploaded to the FCC, saving time and effort.
Preview mode
Preview Mode saves users time by allowing them to preview the workflow before exporting it to other devices. They can select a specific path within the workflow to see what will be displayed at that stage. This will include the appropriate Scene States with animations.
When Enable Preview (or pressing P) is selected, users can define a sequence of workflow steps to visualize the 3D content that would be visible in the workplace along this path.
To create or modify a path:
- Hold the ALT key and hover over the steps in the Connector. This shows the shortest path from the start step to the hovered one.
- Click on a step to confirm and set the preview path.
- Simultaneously, the model in the scene updates to reflect this path. It can also be moved around and viewed from different angles.
Select a connection to open its menu. On top of the connector, there are three buttons to adjust the current view:
- Reset View: Resets the window's position and zoom factor to their default values.
- Scale to Fit: Makes all markers and the instruction components visible at the same time.
- Auto Layout: Automatically arranges markers and instruction components.
